My passion to serve seniors in a home care setting began when I started working as a Home Health Aide in 2001. Shortly thereafter, I realized that serving those in need of care was not only rewarding, but also fulfilling, in that it gave my life a sense of purpose. Of all the knowledge and achievements that God has blessed me to obtain and accomplish in this field, experience has, by far, been my best teacher, and compassion my greatest asset. I have grown to believe, wholeheartedly, that to serve others with a heart of compassion is one of God's greatest callings in life.
While working in this field, I have encountered patients with various ailments and personalities. Some of my patient's suffering had, unfortunately, taken its toll. As a caregiver, this was one of my greatest challenges...witnessing a human being become agitated and disgruntled, due to the pain that he/she suffered, either in their physical body, or the mental anguish of slowly losing their independence. Although I had rendered the personal care, companion services, and/or gentle reassurance specified in the care plan, there remained a deep seated need that, quite obviously, was not being met. So I began to lift my patients in prayer, fervently and in secret (I am a believer and witness that prayer changes things!) and to read the Holy Bible to those who welcomed it. To my delight, the results were astonishing! I began to experience a transformation in many of my patients. For instance, many of my Alzheimer's patients began to sleep better at night. And a few patients, who others had commented would "never smile", began to smile, laugh, and indulge in pleasant and joyful conversation with me. Many of my patient's family members and other caregivers noticed these improvements as well. While I was not surprised to see the positive effect prayer and reading the Holy Bible to my patients had on them, I knew that God was at work, and I was overjoyed!
Hosanna Home Care Services is based on the compassionate Ministry of Jesus Christ because the sacrifice that He made is the supreme example of what true servanthood is. Our mission is to follow His example and serve others with true compassion and servanthood. Our top priority and desire is for our caregivers to treat those that we serve as if he/she were caring for their own parent or loved one. We stand firmly by our motto, as it is instructed in the Word of God, to "Do everything in love" (1 Corinthians 16:14). It is my sincere prayer that our compassionate service will help to improve the quality of life and bring joy to our patients, while giving peace of mind to their loved ones.
I sincerely thank you for allowing or considering Hosanna Home Care Services to meet your home care needs. God Bless!

Hosanna Home Care Services
Through His life, death, and resurrection, Jesus Christ set the ultimate example of what it means to serve others. He demonstrated servant leadership through His compassion. He showed care and concern for the sick, oppressed, or those who felt alone. We look to His life to learn from Him and follow His example. Our top priority is to invest in the communities we serve through the Ministry of Jesus Christ.
Caregiving can be an immense burden to carry. You are expected to meet a loved one's needs, all while keeping normal life afloat. When the road seems endless, God provides what we need for today. We pray that you are inspired by these Scriptures that offer encouragement for caregivers who need comfort, peace, strength, and wisdom. Our respite care services are available when you need a helping hand.
The word gospel means “good news,” so the gospel of Jesus Christ is the good news of His coming to provide forgiveness of sins for all who will believe (Colossians 1:14; Romans 10:9). Since the first man’s sin, mankind has been under the condemnation of God (Romans 5:12). Because everyone breaks God’s perfect law by committing sin, everyone is guilty (Romans 3:23). The punishment for the crime of sin is physical death (Romans 6:23) and then an eternity spent in a place of punishment (Revelation 20:15; Matthew 25:46). This eternal separation from God is also called the “second death” (Revelation 20:14–15).
The bad news that all are guilty of sin and condemned by God is countered by the gospel, the good news of Jesus Christ. God, because of His love for the world, has made a way for man to be forgiven of their sins (John 3:16). He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to take the sins of mankind on Himself through death on a cross (1 Peter 2:24). In placing our sin on Christ, God ensured that all who will believe in the name of Jesus will be forgiven (Acts 10:43). Jesus’ resurrection guarantees the justification of all who believe (Romans 4:25).
The Bible specifies the content of the gospel message: “Now, brothers and sisters, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you, which you received and on which you have taken your stand. By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain. For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, and that he appeared to Cephas, and then to the Twelve. After that, he appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers and sisters at the same time” (1 Corinthians 15:1–6). In this passage, Paul emphasizes the primacy of the gospel—it is of “first importance.” The gospel message contains two historical facts, both supported by Scripture: Christ’s death and His resurrection. Both those facts are bolstered by other proofs: Christ’s death is proved by His burial, and His resurrection is proved by the eyewitnesses.
The gospel of Jesus Christ is the good news that God provided the way for man to be freed from the penalty of sin (John 14:6; Romans 6:23). Everyone dies physically, but those who believe in Jesus Christ are promised a physical resurrection unto eternal life (John 11:23–26). Those who reject Christ will not only die physically but will undergo a “second death,” which the Bible describes as an eternal lake of fire (Revelation 20:13–14). Jesus is the only One in whom salvation can be found (Acts 4:12).
The gospel of Jesus Christ is the best news anyone will ever hear, and what a person does with this news will determine where he or she spends eternity. God is calling you to choose life. Call on the name of the Lord and be saved (Romans 10:13).

Caregiving can be an immense burden to carry. You are expected to meet a loved one's needs, all while keeping normal life afloat. You may feel lonely, frazzled, and weary. Perhaps you wonder if anyone notices you as more attention is given to the person under your care.
Dear friend, we want to encourage you that you are seen. When the road seems endless, God provides what we need for today. When we feel abandoned, His Word reminds us we're not alone. When we face hard decisions, He offers wisdom and peace. When we're at the end of our rope, He soothes us with comfort and fills us with strength.
If you are facing one of these scenarios in your caregiving journey, we pray you are encouraged by these Scriptures that offer encouragement for caregivers who need comfort, peace, strength, and wisdom. You are not alone. We offer respite care services when you need a pair of helping hands.
But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
– Isaiah 40:31 (KJV)
You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you. Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord, the Lord himself, is the Rock eternal.
– Isaiah 26:3-4 (NIV)
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.
– 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 (NIV)
Yet the news about [Jesus] spread all the more, so that crowds of people came to hear him and to be healed of their sicknesses. But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed.
– Luke 5:15-16 (NIV)
Love endures with patience and serenity, love is kind and thoughtful, and is not jealous or envious; love does not brag and is not proud or arrogant. It is not rude; it is not self-seeking, it is not provoked [nor overly sensitive and easily angered]; it does not take into account a wrong endured. It does not rejoice at injustice, but rejoices with the truth [when right and truth prevail]. Love bears all things [regardless of what comes], believes all things [looking for the best in each one], hopes all things [remaining steadfast during difficult times], endures all things [without weakening].
– I Corinthians 13:4-7 (AMP)
Now may the Lord of peace himself grant you his peace at all times and in every way [that peace and spiritual well-being that comes to those who walk with Him, regardless of life’s circumstances]. The Lord be with you all.
– II Thessalonians 3:16 (AMP)
I lift up my eyes to the mountains—where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. He will not let your foot slip—he who watches over you will not slumber; indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.
– Psalm 121:1-4 (NIV)
You can be sure that God will take care of everything you need, his generosity exceeding even yours in the glory that pours from Jesus.
– Philippians 4:19 (MSG)
O Lord, you have examined my heart and know everything about me. You know when I sit down or stand up. You know my thoughts even when I’m far away. You see me when I travel and when I rest at home. You know everything I do. You know what I am going to say even before I say it, Lord. You go before me and follow me. You place your hand of blessing on my head.
– Psalm 139:1-5 (NLT)
